At that time, these special procedures will begin: Access to the Library is LIMITED to Cal U Students, Faculty, Staff, and Administration. A CalCard must be shown to enter the building. We apologize that we have to exclude others at this time. Physical books and items ARE available . But, Library shelves are closed to the public. This means you cannot go and get your own items. Instead, you need to use our Item Retrieval Request Service . The Library will get your book or item for you, and you will pick it up at the Borrowing Desk. Masks are required in all public spaces, and Social Distancing Protocols must be followed. These links have to be formatted correctly for them to work. Use the following tool to create them. OpenAthens Link Generator If you want to share an online link to a result or a search set from one of Cal's subscription databases, you need to have a link that allows the user to authenticate (prove they have access to Cal's subscription).
